Former state 5A champion and Clark graduate (2005) Patience Knight is in the news.  A Texas Tech senior, she won the shot put at the Texas Tech Invitational with a “toss” of 53′ 1.75″.  That heave gives her a provisional qualification for the national indoor championships.  Knight is the 2008 Honda Inspiration Award winner, honoring one female athlete, as well as an Academic All-American.

Please keep Coach Anne Ager in your prayers as her father, Dr. Steven Ager, passed away on Jan. 13th following a battle with cancer.  Coach Ager is the Assistant Athletic Director and Cross Country and Women’s Track coach.
