The San Antonio Express News named senior Jorden Kite to its All Area basketball team  Sunday. The 6-4 guard has signed to play with Incarnate Word. Read about it here!

Clark beat Reagan 60-57 to advance in the basketball play offs. Senior guard Jordan Kite caught fire in the fourth quarter to erase an 11 point deficit in the second half and bring in the win. Kite had 19 points overall. His fellow seniors and teammates Nathan Josephs and Teesean Patterson each scored fourteen points to help defeat the Rattlers.

The Cougars will play Clemens next. Tuesday, March 3rd, 8:00pm at UTSA.

The Clark varsity boys basketball team won their round 1 playoff game against
South San on Monday night. Defense was the key as the Cougars beat South San 52
– 41. Thanks to all the fans who came to cheer them on. Their next game is
against Reagan, and will take place either Thursday or Friday.

The men’s basketball team was named team of there week by TSRN, the Texas Sports Radio Network.

The Cougars beat Brandeis 58-47 to earn a spot in the District 27-6A play offs. Senior Jordan Kite had a game high 20 points. Before this game, Clark, Brandeis, Taft, and Warren were in a four way tie for second place. Only three teams could make it to the play offs.

The varsity girls beat the Corpus Christi  Carroll Tigers in the first round of basketball play offs 81-72.

The Clark varsity boys basketball team defeated Stevens Friday night, 57 – 51.
They are now in a 4 way tie for second place with Brandeis, Taft and Warren.
Marshall is only 1 game behind. There is one district game remaining – they
play Brandeis Tuesday February 17, 6:30 at Paul Taylor. Please come out and
support them!

The Lady Coogs hit the road beginning Monday 2/16/15 to play CC Carroll HS at 7:00pm at the  Victoria
Student Event Center. The ladies had an awesome season with a 27-5 season and a
9-4 in district games. Lady Coogs are currently ranked 9th in the city by
Express and News. Best of Luck Ladies!

The Clark varsity boys basketball team lost in a heartbreaker to Warren on
Friday 60-65. They rallied to beat Taft on Tuesday 47 – 45. They are still
battling for a playoff spot with 2 district games remaining. Come out and
support them on Friday Feb 13 6:00 at O’Connor High school when they play
Stevens.
