Down 6-3 in the 4th, Peter Rozanski led off the inning with a home run and the Cougars never looked back as they outplayed the O’Connor Panthers for a 8-7 win and a tie for the District 28-5A lead.  Vincent Salazar pitched for the win.  Joseph Ybarra also homered in the 1st.  Hunter McFall had key hits and RBIs for the Cougars, including a double and a hit for the go ahead run.  He was also named the Texas State Radio Network Player of the Game.  Salazar (6-0) retired nine straight on his way to the victory. Carl O’Neal entered the 7th for the save.
