San Antonio’s “Thursday Night Lights” high school football showcase on KMYS-TV will kick off its 2010 season with the Gucci Bowl.  The Clark – Churchill game on August 26th will once again set the ball rolling for a ten game slate of high school football. Three other Northside School District teams will also be featured in games this season: new school Brennan as it opens district against Boerne Champion at the end of September (Brennan is opening this fall as a 4-A school) and then on November 4th the Brandeis vs Jay game will be televised from Farris Stadium.
