Congratulations to several Clark Cougars as the spring edition of the Express News all city awards were announced. Seniors Elhad Emerllahu and Jason Brickman made the Express News Super Team in basketball. Junior Johnny Lawson made the Express News Super Team for soccer as did Gabrielle Santorio. CLARK VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO CHARGERS

In the opening game of the 2009 season for both schools, the Clark Cougars fell to Churchill three games to one. Clark got into a hole early losing game one 16-25 and game two 22-25 but rallied to win the third 26-24. The Chargers took control of game four winning 25-11 to take the match. Senior Kate Mazzocco tallied 13 assists, India Hartwell delivered 10 kills, Vanessa Casanova had 13 digs and Kayci Murphy registered 3 service aces for the evening.
