Garza pursues another goal

The men’s varsity soccer Cougars pasted the Holmes Huskies in the final regular season game 7-0.  Francisco Garza pulled a hat trick, Placide Buduri scored two, and Roger Trevino and Esteban Rodriguez each had a goal in the win.  Next up, playoffs.  Congratulations!

J. Lawson

Clark scored two wins over Taft as the soccer regular season winds down. The boy’s team notched its 5th win in a row with a 3-2 victory over the Raiders. Placide Buduri had two goals and Jonathan Lawson scored one.

On the girl’s side, Gabrielle Santorio found the back of the net to lead the 8th ranked Cougars to a 1-0 win over 9th ranked Taft. 

Clark soccer has one district game remaining in the season against Holmes.

Several Clark Cougar athletes were mentioned in the March 10th edition of the Express News as leaders in their sports.  Congratulations and keep up the good work!

Maher shoots goal #2

Austin Maher scored two goals, Placide Buduri and Zack Guevara each scored one goal and the defense kept the goal clean as the men’s varsity beat John Jay 4-0.

#20 Esteban Rodriquez

The men’s varsity soccer Cougars continued their successful 28-5A season with a 3-1 win over the Holmes Huskies.  Esteban Rodriquez added two goals to his season scoring numbers and Placide Buduri also added a goal to his total.

The men’s varsity and JV teams both suffered a loss to Boerne Champion in non-district games.  The varsity lost 4-1 with a goal from Placide Buduri.  The JV lost 2-0.
