#59 Chapman - #10 Durke - #87 Campbell

The Texas Sports Writers Association, whose members are sports writers and sports editors from daily and weekly newspapers from across the state of Texas as well as sports internet services, have announced their 2008 5A All-State teams.  Senior running back Jock Tilghman made the second team as well as senior Adair Campbell as a punter.  Campbell also made 3rd team as a tight end along with senior defensive back Aaron Durke.  Junior center Robert Chapman earned honorable mention honors.  The entire list can be found on the Dallas Morning News site.

The Express News and District 28-5A named their Area and District teams.  Clark had several players named including:

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Jock Tilghman

• 1st Team – Aaron Durke, Adair Campbell

• 1st Team Offense – Hayden Greenbauer, Adair Campbell, Cory Smith, Allan Zhong, Robert Chapman
• 2nd Team Offense – Jerrad White, Joe Vasquez, Anker Wiggins,
• 1st Team Defense – Ethan Price, Jerrad White, Aaron Durke, Adair Campbell
• 2nd Team Defense – Greg Castro, Neal Larson, Kevin Ozment, Gilbert Mata, Joey Cammer, Joe Nichols
