SOFTBALL: LONG GAME, BIG WIN
by Fan4Clark on Mar.17, 2009, under Softball
It took 11 innings, but the Clark softball team made it count as they beat the Warren Warriors 4-3. Henessey Soto was on the mound for the Cougars to take the win. Sophomore Felicia Sanchez came up big with 3 hits to help drive in the runs.

Great Job Girls, After a grueling 11 inning almost 3 1/2 Hr game you Prevailed, This was all due to team work, a couple of mishaps, a couple of great plays, Possibly a few nibbled finger nails from all the excitement and pure determination as a team to get the win. We are so proud of all you young ladies, especially the bottom 1/2 of the batting line up that really came thru for the Cougar’s. A couple of other girls had great hit’s that I can recall Megan M,Taylor L, Brittney R, Christina R. Great plays by all our outfielders and Jess R at 3rd base and a great pitching and catching game for Hennessey S and Christina R.

As stated above by Hennessey S’s mom, it was an excellent game. We should be proud of all of the girls, even the ones with minimal playing time.
Way to go Megan M for starting it off. Felicia and Christina for coming thru and keeping it going, great hit by Dani and Britney for finishing it off!
Each of the girls did their part for a successful win and as fans we couldn’t sit still!
Way to go girls!
