Clark Lift-a-thon

The 18th annual Lift-A-Thon, sponsored by the Clark Texas Football Club, was another huge success. With a packed house of enthusiastic Cougar fans  the Lift-A-Thon provided an exciting look at the strength of next season’s Varsity and Junior Varsity squads.  Several players exceeded their personal best records. Among those still standing in the plus 300’s at the end were  Roger Lamar (jr),  Charles  Quichocho (jr)  and the DeHart brothers – William (soph) and Blake (jr).

The Lift-a-thon has many individual and business sponsors and all the money raised goes to benefit the Clark football program. Clark’s Aristocats dance team provided entertainment.

The Clark Texas Football Club, the overall sponsor, is a group of former players that provides support for the program and awards a scholarship to one outstanding Clark football player each spring.
