Casanova digs deep

The Clark Cougar varsity volleyball team started well but couldn’t hold on for a win against Johnson in volleyball.  Clark won  the first two games, 25-20.  In game two, the Cougars led by as much as 5 during the midpoint of the game but Johnson tied it all up at 17.  Clark then took control to win but the tables were turned in game three as Johnson outscored the Cougars, also by a score of 25-20.  Game 4 was all Jaguars with Clark losing 13-25.  Game 5 was much closer, but in the end the Jaguars ended up with the game and match, defeating the Cougars 17-15 for a three games to two rally and the W.

India Hartwell posted 10 kills and 2 services aces, Kate Mazzocco logged 11 assists and Vanessa Casanova had 17 digs in the effort.
