Clark Cougars Lose to O’Connor

Your Clark Cougars began district play last night against the Panthers from O’Connor. The Coogs dug an early hole, spotting the Panthers 21 points after allowing the opening kickoff to be returned for a touchdown, and giving up two more quick scores after turnovers. The Cougars eventually settled down and played the Panthers even for the rest of the game, losing 49-28.
Next, Friday, your Coogs will continue in District play as they face the Falcons from Stevens

I STAYED UNTIL THE VERY END OF THE GAME AND I’M SO GLAD THAT I DID. HAD I NOT STAYED, I WOULD HAVE BEEN BUMMED BY THE LOSS FOR A WHILE, BUT STAYING TIL THE END I OBSERVED THE AMAZING SPORTSMANSHIP OUR COUGARS DEMONSTRATED. THE YOUNG MEN SHOWED NOTHING BUT CLASS AS THEY CONGRATULATED THE O’CONNOR TEAM, THEN PROCEEDED TO KNEEL AND GIVE THANKS AS A TEAM…I LEFT THE GAME WITH SUCH PRIDE FOR OUR TEAM!!
