The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches and MaxPreps has Clark at #15 in the state, advancing two spots from last week.  The Express-News latest rankings are out and Clark victories over the holidays helped keep the Men’s Varsity Basketball team ranked #4 in the city.  Tonight, they take on Taft at O’Connor in district play.

Monday night at Blossom Athletic Center, the Clark JV took on Churchill on the pitch and won 1-0 in a preseason scrimmage.  Regular season begins for both Varsity and JV next Monday against the Reagan Rattlers.

The Lady Cougars fought tough but lost a close one to to Warren 42-44.  District play resumes next week against Taft.

The Men’s Varsity Basketball team remained undefeated in district play after beating Warren 67-52.  The Cougars don’t play again until next year vs. Taft.

The Clark Cougars Freshman Men’s Basketball team finished 2008 with a victory over the Warren Warriors, 54-39.

Clark continues to roll through the district schedule.  This time, the Panthers were left in the dust.  Clark is now 3-0 in district play and 17-3 overall.

The San Antonio Express News now has the Men’s Varsity team ranked at #4 in the city.  Congratulations!
