LADY COUGARS, RAMS GET DEFENSIVE

Wise takes control

Wise takes control

In a fierce district matchup, the Lady Cougar varsity soccer team took on the Marshall Rams.  With at least two yellow cards in the match, both teams fought for the win.  The Clark offense was on the attack in the first half but in the second half the tables were turned and it was the defense who kept the Rams out of the goal.  The result was a frustrating 0-0 tie.

Down 0-1 most of the game, the Clark men’s JV soccer team rallied back in the second half to score and come away with a tie against Stevens. Valentine Okechi (one of our new favorite Clark athlete names) put the ball in the net after a Clark corner kick came out to the top of the box.  Junior keeper Scott Gray had several saves during the game.
