Our Clark Track athletes were big winners at the area track meet! India Simmons, Katy Crouch, Noelia Rodriguez, Asya Mazmanyan, William Young, Nic Andry, Jon Maas, Gerald Moreland, Mica Orquiz, and Samuel DeRousse all qualified for the Regional Track meet at Alamo Stadium this Friday and Saturday. The weather held so the Clark varsity tennis players were able to play their final district matches. Advancing to Region are Zach Frisbie (1st place boys singles), Ricky Keh (2nd place boys singles), Hannah Rafferty (1st place girls singles), and Chris Todd and Johnny Reichman (2nd place boys doubles). Earning third place spots were Martha Dill and Molly Kiehne (girls doubles) and Sergio Martinez and Arantza Gonzales (mixed doubles).

Junior Hannah Rafferty will advance to semis in girls singles and juniors Molly Kiehne and Martha Dill will advance in girls doubles in the NISD tourney, which will be held tomorrow at ATC, weather permitting.

Today was the first day of district tournament play for Cougar varsity tennis. Boys and mixed doubles played at Annemarie Tennis Center. Advancing to the semifinal round were Ricky Keh and Zach Frisbie in singles, Chris Todd and Johnny Reichman in doubles, and Sergio Martinez and Arantza Gonzalez in mixed. They will play again Saturday at ATC.

Girls will play tomorrow, weather permitting, also at ATC.
