The Clark volleyball team continued its ascent through the Express News rankings landing at number 8 in this week’s Area Poll, up from #9 last week. The Cougars narrowed the battle for first place in district to two teams by defeating Brandeis last week, leaving Clark and O’Connor alone at the top. O’Connor solidified that tonight with a 3-0 sweep of Brandeis.
Receiving a “Game Ball” from the Express News writers for her recent play is Marcella Arellano, who finished with 29 kills for the week. The Cougars take on Warren, Wednesday night at 7:00 at Paul Taylor Fieldhouse.
