CLARK TEXAS FOOTBALL CLUB AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS
by Fan4Clark on May.28, 2012, under Alumni, Football
In the immortal words of Super Dave, “it’s a great day to be a Clark Cougar”. Recently, before the assemblage of graduating seniors and the 2012 Cougar Football team, the CTFC handed out the 10th Lloyd Alexander Scholarship to Kweku Larbie and the 1st ever David Dalkowitz Scholarship to Roger Lamar. It is the first year we have been able to award two scholarship (mostly due to the generosity of George Gaiser Jr ’83, who you know will get at least one Shameless Plug of the Week this season for his company, BUILDEM Construction).
Larbie will attend Alabama State this fall and Lamar has signed up at Incarnate Word. This makes our 10th and 11th scholarships awarded as we set to turn a decade old this year and turn our sights on growing the CTFC and its scholarships over the coming years.
Congratulations to Kweku and Roger! Remember, Tradition Never Graduates!

DULLNIG TO PLAY AT NEXT LEVEL
by Fan4Clark on May.14, 2012, under Alumni, Baseball
Clark senior pitcher Chad Dullnig is headed to Louisiana to play baseball for the Bossier Parish Junior College Cavaliers. Chad was a unanimous 1st team all district pitcher this year in 27-5A and finished his season as the leading hitter in district and in the top 5 in RBI’s in the city. He was joined at his signing by his teammates, Coach Aldo Velazquez and his parents – Cheri and Darrell Dullnig.
Chad continues a family tradition of playing college ball. His older brother Cameron, who also played baseball for the Cougars, is a pitcher for the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas and his sister, Cori, a former All District soccer player for Clark, spent her college career at Centenary College in Shreveport, not far from Bossier Parish where Chad will play.
Congratulations!!

by Fan4Clark on May.06, 2012, under Softball
Congratulations once again to Clark Softball, who are advancing to the 3rd round of playoffs against district rival O’Connor for a chance at the regional title. The Panthers won both district games against the Cougars, although both games were very competitive. O’Connnor won the first game after 12 innings of play and game 2 was a 1-0 outcome in favor of the Panthers.
Clark is expected to be motivated to avoid a sweep which has already been predicted by O’Connor center fielder Hannah Fields in the Express News (link below). You can see the girls in action this Friday at 7pm at Northside. Time to show up and be loud, Cougar fans!
