A new streak continues! Clark tennis handily defeated Health Careers to pick up a second Area Tournament win. Now it is on to Region, which will be played here in San Antonio this year.

Tennis defeated Southwest in the morning and Marshall in the afternoon to advance to the final round of the second ever Area Tennis Tournament.

The Coogs started the week ranked number seven by the EN as they stood poised to play number one ranked O’Connor. Clark lost to the Panthers after a valiant effort on Wednesday.

This still puts Clark at number two in the district and the Coogs retain their play off berth.

The Echo recognized volleyball player Madison Woods as Clark’s player of the week for her performance in the Holmes game.

A disappointing game for Clark football, which lost to O’Connor 35-6. Chris Rollins had the TD.

William Young was named Athlete of the Week by The Echo, a neighborhood newspaper, in their October 15th edition for his performance in the Marshall game.

And the basketball dominance continues! Varsity boys basketball went 3-0 at the Alamo City Slam Fest on Sat Oct 11.

On Friday, October 10th, varsity volleyball played against Brandeis went an exciting 5 with Clark landing on top:

First game 25 – 23 Cougars
Second game 25-13 Brandeis
Third game 25-24 Cougars
Fourth game 25-23 Brandeis
Fifth game 15-8 Cougars

Among the outstanding Clark players were Megan Pattison (jr) who led with 17 kills, Madison Woods (sr) with 25 digs, and
Ariana Flores (sr) with 31 assists.

The win helped Clark cement its position as #7 in the EN rankings.
