The Clark softball team continued their district hitting streak with a 15-4 rout of the #5 ranked Brandeis broncos on Wednesday. The Cougars took a respectable 4-1 lead into the 5th inning and then exploded with 6 runs in the 5th and 5 more in the 6th inning – off a game total of 12 hits. Henessey Soto was on the mound for the Cougars as they up their  record to 9-5 and their early district record to 2-1 for a share of second place in the standings. Soto also leads the team in hitting with an average of .512, followed by Dani Nash at .464, Megan Martinez at .444, Britney Ramos at .400 and Megan Aragones at .364.
