PLAYOFFS UPDATE

Clark softball took a 1-0 series lead over New Braunfels on Thursday with a thrilling 4-3 victory. Clark had broken a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the 6th inning with two runs, but New Braunfels matched that in the top of the 7th. The game went to the 8th inning with Clark holding off the Unicorns in the top and then in the bottom of the 8th with two outs the Cougars got the winning run.
Game two is today at 5:30 at NEISD East followed by game 3 – if necessary. GO COOGS!!!
Clark baseball dropped the first game in their series against Corpus Christi King 6-4. Playing at Whataburger field in Corpus the Cougars were leading 3-0 in the 5th inning when King unleashed 6 runs to take the lead and then the game. Get the Corpus Christi Caller Times version of the game here.
Game two will be at 1:00 pm Saturday followed by game 3 – both at the Northside fields. LET’S GO COOGS!!!
BOY’S WATER POLO AT STATE TOURNAMENT

Continuing a longtime Clark tradition the Cougar boys water polo team is in Austin this weekend for the TISCA Water Polo State Tournament. Clark placed third in the West Region and will face Baytown Sterling Friday morning at 10:45 at the UT Swim Center. Also competing from the West is Alamo Heights and Brandeis.
