Cougars make glue out of Mustangs

On a beautiful afternoon at the ball park, the Clark Cougars varsity softball team only spent a few minutes in the spring weather as they whipped the John Jay Mustangs 16-0 in a 2-inning game, called because of run rules.  The offense scored  early and often, leading 12-0 after one inning. Megan Aragones pitched the no hitter shut out.

Coach D’Layne Kelly credited the team with staying focused in the blowout and was happy with the way her team responded to the lopsided win.

Way to go COOGS!
